Our programs respond to the reality that poverty, hunger, protection, education, livelihoods, climate risk, health, displacement, and weak institutions are interconnected. We combine program areas according to local context so that short-term support contributes to long-term capability, resilience, and community ownership.
We strengthen local food production, farmer knowledge, climate-smart agriculture, access to productive resources, resilient farming systems, market linkages, and community-based agricultural learning. Our objective is to help households and communities move from recurring food insecurity toward stronger local production, income, resilience, and food-system ownership.
We support entrepreneurship, vocational and business skills, savings, cooperative development, productive assets, market access, enterprise incubation, and livelihood diversification. Economic support is connected to readiness, viable productive activity, practical planning, mentoring, and accountability.
Diar Foundation’s roots are closely connected to women’s empowerment. We invest in women’s education, economic participation, leadership, entrepreneurship, agriculture, cooperative development, decision-making, and protection from barriers that limit opportunity.
We support learning, practical skills, youth leadership, employability, entrepreneurship, and pathways that help children and young people build the knowledge, confidence, and opportunity needed for a productive future.
We support child protection and family-strengthening approaches that place safety, dignity, participation, safeguarding, caregiver capacity, and resilient community systems at the center.
We connect community well-being with nutrition, preventive health education, safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and practical community infrastructure where these needs are supported by assessment and partnership capacity.
We integrate climate adaptation, sustainable land and water management, resilient agriculture, renewable energy where appropriate, and responsible stewardship of natural resources into community development.
We support dialogue, inclusive participation, peaceful coexistence, local problem-solving, and community resilience in contexts affected by conflict, displacement, and social fragmentation.
Where crisis creates immediate needs, Diar Foundation connects protection and short-term response with recovery, livelihoods, food production, local capacity, and longer-term resilience.
We work with community organizations, cooperatives, local partners, and institutions to strengthen leadership, governance, financial management, accountability, program delivery, monitoring, and organizational effectiveness.
Community-led development with local roots and a regional vision.
Building dignity, leadership, opportunity, economic ownership, resilience, and long-term self-reliance.
